Stora Fjäderholmen can be reached by regular boat services from various locations in central Stockholm, with a voyage duration of about 20 minutes. The island is home to a number of craft workshops and stores, as well as several restaurants and cafes.

Visited the island with the family. Nice visit and lot of tourist traps. If you want to go for a swim it is ok but too crowded for my taste. I will not go here again but I do not regret going here...

Beautiful small island to visit ! Boat from Slussen both ways 170sek per person, 25min. Few restaurants and cafe. We ate in the first one that has beers. Very good food but seats are very less during the rush hours. Röda Villan restaurant looks very nice setting, can’t say about food though. The island has so many nice spot to enjoy the sea view. Small Viking boats and nice small handmade boutiques. Be careful with the seagulls, during May-June, they are very protective with their small babies, they could poke you. A lot of people in a tiny island on a sunny day. I definitely recommend it.
Nice and small island, 30min far from city by ferry. Perfect to spend a sunny day over there.
A small island with great views. A coffee Shop, a souvenir shop, if you want to visit you rather have some runners( not sandals) they are lots of stones, ups and downs around the island. Really quiet place you can drink a beer and have a nice tanning. I also put some pictures from the way to the island with nice buildings and a nice monument on the water.
Tiny little island close to the city. Great for a short trip of 2 hours or so. Eat something, get a sense of the archipelago - then go back. Just restaurants and not much to see.
Really nice island with quite some things to see and do. We recommend visiting blacksmithery "Rock the Forge", where children can make their own silver pendant/ring or a hook for clothes. There is a really nice Canadian owner, who guides children through the process od making the jewlery. Children really do it step by step almost entirely on their own.
