  • Suddenly you need to pay a ridiculous price for a very aged collection. I used to go here on rainy days with friends to do something, but this new ticket prices make it 100% not worth it!

  • Really fun and informative museum. Well designed in a way both children and adults can enjoy. Really cool to see historical/ancient history, animals from all over the world, as well as the exhibit focusing on the nature in Sweden specifically. Huge collection of taxidermy birds (definitely a must see if you’re an enthusiast)! Went on a Sunday and it was quite busy with lots of children and families. Something to keep in mind when planing your visit if you’re trying to avoid crowds.
  • Beautiful! The Swedish Royal Museum of Natural History, founded in 1819 by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. As of 2014 it was the largest museum building in Sweden. A great collection of artifacts spread out across many areas, a nice place to spend half a day. Suitable for families with children. It also hosts an IMAX theater with paid shows. Museum is free to enter.
  • An amazing museum that is well worth a visit. While there are a lot of things to look at and many exhibitions ongoing, it’s the dino skeletons that is the main attraction. They’re big and a kid in the right age span will love it. Make sure to pick a good time to visit though. It can sometimes be crowded with hundreds of kids from a bunch of schools. You’ll be zigzagging between them to go from one room to the next.
  • Free entrance. Nice cafe. Parking 🅿. You can bring you're own food and eat in special rest places. Have microwave and kitchen. Museum have 2 rest places. You can book also museum for you're kids birthday party with special program.
  • Several exhibitions were closed for maintenance, good place to bring kids. It was slightly crowded. The permanent items are nice and interesting. Short walk from the Universitet metro station. Entry to the museum is free except for some special exhibitions.
