Well... in the summer everything is closed and the place feels like a ghost town. So i would not recommend it in summer. Luckely we are only staying 2 days... because most fun activities are approx...

Perfect for children and easy for parents. Easy and fun slopes for the small ones and some nice long red slopes for parents in breaks. The familykort is a nice thing for parents with small childern. Good restaurants and plenty of playgrounds

The hitel hotel is fine and very clean. The small beds in the 2 smaller rooms are quite hard and not comfortable. Minimarket expensive and with very limited selection of products. Skiing is ok for a family with small kids. Max height is like 600 meters which is nothing.

Very good surprise, for a long time skier / snowboarder who comes from Italian / Swiss / French Alps ! Totally recommend, and easily reachable from Stockholm

Great skiing for beginners and families with young children. Everything is very organized and well maintained. If you stay at the lodge you have ski-in/ski-out, can book half-pension (breakfast and dinner included) and there areas a lot of things to do for children att night.

Great view! First time in the mountains around here, and the experience was great. In these covid times, we didn't saw people gathering or neglecting the social distancing. Apart from that, the houses from Branäs are well taken care, well positioned. Also, traveling there by car is a must...saves you plenty of time...I heard that the after skying is great, but due to covid all places were closed... this will come back in following years!
