Clock Tower - Zytglogge, Bern

If you have the time and budget I highly recommend booking the Clock Tower / Zytglogge tour with the Tourist Information Center at Bern train station. The tour is one hour long and the guide times it so that the group is directly at the mechanisms at the turn of the hour to see exactly how all those wheels and clogs work together to produce the delightful display of dancing figurines witnessed outside.

Cool clock. One of the many things that makes the cityscape of Bern interesting. Not sure I'd call it a destination in and of itself. But I'm glad I saw it while walking through the city.

A majestic clock tower right smack in the middle of the Old Town, with busy traffic passing through it. Taking pictures with the tower is a must, though from what we heard there are specific tours that you can take to view inside of the tour so that's a must. Unfortunately we only found out after we left Bern so that's a bummer. Still quite a grand looking building.

This clock tower is a landmark of this place, and you can find a long street from the left and right. Anyway if you are enjoy taking a photo on this street, be careful of cars and railroad.

This is the magical place, where nearby Einstein was working as a young guy, walking these streets around the Clock, watching the movements on the streets, this was the beginning of his relatively theory, which started to unfold, the old city of Bern really is a inspiration place!!!
