Hightide Kayak School, Interlaken

Kayaking in Lake Brienz with the Hightide Kayak School was the highlight of our trip to Switzerland. Our guide Chris was very friendly, professional, and made our experience very safe and enjoyable. He also took amazing photos of us and taught us a lot about the lake and about kayaking. Would highly recommend this experience if you're in the area, but be ready for a proper upper-body workout! I would also recommend hanging out after kayaking on the rooftop and enjoying the views and the nice music.

It was a great experience, we did the 3 hour tour and we initially thought three hours will be so long but it felt like a blink! We had Chris as our tour guide and he was super fun, professional and he took really cool pictures of us. Would definitely recommend this experience

We had an incredible Winter Kayaking Experience on 4/28/2022 with Chris and Ryan. The tour started with us gearing up with dry suits and our kayaks. Then we jumped in our kayaks and enjoyed the beauty of Interlaken with the great company of our guides! We got to explore a castle nearby and paddle around the lake for about 1.5 hours. They also took some awesome photos of us that we were emailed at the end of our tour. Some of the most fun we had in Interlaken and would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys natural beauty.

I had a fantastic time on the Hightide Kayak School tour with Sofia as our guide. She is friendly, professional and shares interesting points along the way. She accommodates for everyone including those who didn't want to swim or those who needed a break from kayaking - I did not find it too strenuous but it is a good work out for your arms. We were blessed with amazing weather and got to enjoy two beautiful swims in the lake during the tour. Everything for the tour was organised very well; getting our gear (life vests, kayaks and paddles), having lockers to put away our personal belongings, snacks during the breaks, and the pack-up was super easy including somewhere to have a shower and get changed. We were also allowed to use the pool at the venue afterwards, or hop back in the lake if we wanted. On top of all this, the photos taken on the day were uploaded within hours which is amazing when you're trying to share real-time updates with family and friends. I would definitely book this again.

Stumbled upon this kayaking outfit while looking for interesting things to do in Interlaken, and what a happy accident - I thoroughly enjoyed Sean’s enthusiastic tour of Lake Brienze and the stopover at Ringgenburg. The tour was masterfully thought out, with dry suits protecting from the cold, and a lovely autumnal blast of ice cold rain to boot. Would definitely recommend if you have some experience (or even no experience) kayaking and would enjoy a special day out on the glacial water!
