  • The guided tour was excellent. Having an actual physicist lead it was nice because he was able to answer all kinds of questions. The tour was also a great blend of history and technical information. The open exhibits are amazing and extremely informative. The new visitor center looks like it is going to be 10 times better.
  • Worth a visit if you have a mad scientist in the family. Not a great deal to see and the tour is only an hour, very informative though. You do come away having learnt something! Use your free travel card to get there via tram if staying in Geneva. Route 18.
  • The guided tour needs to arrive at the reception one hour at least before. We lucky registered the guided tour. The guided tour is free. We visited points, the first one has a old model machine used in many years ago and the second is an operating detection station. Both visiting points have movies to introduce some interesting things.
  • Great visit to CERN - what an amazing place! We got places on the tour, which was really interesting. Such a great place to visit for anyone with an interest in science and technology. The biggest physics experiment and laboratory in the world.
  • Amazing place! Great atmosphere, super guided tour! We had a great lady who guided us and explained everything perfectly. I would just like to criticize the very unpleasant staff at the reception! Their behavior is unbecoming in such an institution. Instead of advising you on your choices, she just looked so unpleasant and made it seem like we were bothering her.
