This museum was an absolute gem! The collection is really impressive, and is displayed in an exquisite way! I truly enjoyed learning so much about the different ceramics styles. Some pieces are extremely rare... what a pleasure to see them all reunited in this place! Highly recommended if you are interested in it!

Very interesting and extraordinary collection of chinese and japanese porcelaine, the earliest productions, beautiful historic masterpieces, special exhibition about colours in porcelaine. They also offer a Japanese tea time.
-
Quiet on a Saturday afternoon: A good atmosphere to gaze at a wonderful collection of Asian ceramics. There are also some beautiful jade pieces, gorgeous lacquerware, a small but impressive collection of Japanese tsubas, and so on. The temporary exhibit (October 2022) on emaille and color in ceramics in stunning.
-
Best Eastern Asian porcelain pieces I have seen my entire life. Far better than the ones in China and Japan! I don't know exactly how Mr. Bauer came to acquire these beautiful works but he surely saved the Chinese ones from destruction by the Communists. Highly recommend!
