This is the Heidi flower trail. You can see her grandfather's cottage from the film (old enough to remember?) but the main attraction is the flowers. Easy walk after the first stop on the funicular...

Stayed at Casa Claro. Walked through town all the way to Heidi's " main" house. From there, it's about another 1 1/2 to 2 hours to reach the summer house. Then back. We made it about half way to the..... more
