Schynige Platte, Interlaken

At chf 64 return, it’s not cheap; visited in August and it was extremely busy, we had to wait for the next departure. Once the experience starts it’s great. The train is slow which gives plenty of photos opportunities. Once on top you’ve got few different hiking opportunities each offering breathtaking views. It’s full of tourists but most of them are lazy and don’t hike much.

Nice view of Mönch, Eiger, Jungfrau, but I am not sure the price up the mountain is worthwhile at 64 chf pp especially when you can get an equally impressive view from Mannlichen up Wengen.

Outstanding ,Awesome ,out of the world 50 % discount with Swiss pass , take a bus if you are staying near Interlaken west go to the schnige platte railway station… Nice place for trekking , the views are outstanding and a day trip ,you can see the two lakes and the Beautiful Interlaken city it is worth it , have lunch at the famous restaurant enjoying the breath taking views..

Simply wonderful. Plenty of activities and trails. Accessible to everyone, family, kids or expert hikers.
