Gornergrat, Zermatt

Really beautiful place where you can see in total 7 glaciers, the Gorner being the 3rd largest glacier in the Alps. There is a fabulous view of the Matterhorn and other mountains. I went for a short winter hiking route from Rotenboden to Riffelberg... I felt awe for the landscape.

Gornergrat summit is the must visit place in anyone's lifetime itinerary. Hop on and off the train on the world's first fully electrified cog railway. The view is breathtaking. A lot of view points you can take spectacular photos, go early in a day to enjoy your leisure exploration.

You can look at flabbergasting landscapes while going up by the Gornergratbahn and then have a breathtaking view while on top! A 360 panoramic view with the highest and most popular swiss summits (Dufourspitze and Matterhorn) and glaciers. A must-see in Switzerland! From then, it is possible to hike in the mountains, hike down to Riffelsee or go back in train to Zermatt!

Beautiful views from the top. For less crowd, take the first train up. Apart from viewing the Matterhorn, you are also able to see many other mountain peaks. These information can be seen through the binoculars located around the viewpoint. At the Gornergrat train station, there is a complimentary Matterhorn Photo Point using your train tickets.

A must visit in Zermatt. Worth the money and efforts The spot has a good view over the alps with a nice trek route around as well. There is also a small VR experience thing included in the train tickets (from Zermatt to Gornegratt) which you should not miss There are many small spots around like the famous lake with thw Toblerone mountain's reflection and many more I visited in Summer(July), it will be a completely different case in winter though
