A popular wedding venue, Kapelle Winkelmatten "Zur Heiligen Familie" makes a nice stop on the way back to town after hiking the mountain trails. Enjoy the view of the Matterhorn from the benches in front of the church. Built in 1607 at the end of the hamlet, the small chapel was modeled after the old village church. The richly gilded Baroque altar from the early 18th century depicting the Holy Family remains the centerpiece of the chapel interior.
