Appreciate toys and their relation to culture at Zurcher Spielzeugmuseum, where the collection covers these mainstays of childhood from the 19th century to the 1920s. The museum illustrates the development of civilization through toys: dolls whose costumes showcase changing fashions, dollhouses that illustrate different architecture and lifestyles, and an exhibit of cars and trains that tracks the evolution of transportation. Elsewhere in the museum you can pore over old board games and children's books. Put Zurcher Spielzeugmuseum and other Zurich attractions into our Zurich trip itinerary planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

We enjoyed this place as much as our 5 & 8 years old children did. Small and quite tight place but has a lot of good & nice things on it. Entry fee is a good value for money.😊👍

There is nice collection of old toys here, but the museum is tiny. You can see everything in less than 30 minutes.
