Located in Chiayi Park. The Chiayi Confucian Temple is different from other Confucian temples in Taiwan. It is only planned to have Dacheng Hall and Panchi, but there are no common elements of Confucian temples such as Minglun Hall, Chongsheng Temple and Wanren Wall. The Dacheng Hall is in the form of a single-eave and seven-bay hall. There is a pan pool in front of it, a central imperial road stone and a stepped platform foundation. A bridge of green water is built on the semi-circular pan pool. In the center of the Dacheng Hall is the tablet of Confucius and the offering table. There are tablets of sages and scholars on both sides. The form of the bucket arch under the eaves and the ghost pieces for Liang Fang are not made in accordance with the official standard style, and the bucket arch is simple in design and has no painted , The four corners of the roof of the temple are equipped with decorations such as immortals and beasts. The overall building decoration is simple and elegant.
