It is a traditional Japanese architecture made of the cypress wood which ChiaYi is well known for. Full of little tiny cute things, can spend a good time scrolling around the shops. Don't worry they don't hard sell to you, generally very polite & friendly. Free entrance!

It’s a very beautiful place to visit. It’s free of cost. You can find many shops here. Food shops to souvenir shops. In the middle there is a cute little lake. Overall it’s a good place for a small tour!!

Nice place, all Japanese style wooden buildings. Though Taiwan tourism bureau make these historical sites into… like shopping mall… not a real place for people to know more about this small country or local history
