Wuling Farm, Taichung

11/20/2022 finally, am so thrilled getting to visit this farm. I've been to Taiwan several times but never get to come here because it is really far. It took me 4 hours from Taipei city & having arrived here, it was very worthwhile. I know peeps have been coming for its cherry blossom season but I always love to take the road less traveled by, choosing to visit during autumn. Excited to see some maple leaves and the weather was so good to stroll around.

Amazing and great place to relaxed. You can camping and bbq here. Make sure you wearing good shoes because you will have some longmarch.

The best time go visit Wuling Farm is in the cherry blossom season in spring, when the whole park will be cover is the beautiful pink of the cherry flowers. Wuling farm also has a camping side for people who love camping and enjoy themselves with nature longer. If you want to drive into Wuling farm, you will need to register your car plate number and also confirm with the hotel accommodation before arrive. If you come buy bus, you can by the NTD730 round trip Taipei to Wuling Farm ticket at Taipei City Hall Bus Station, which includes entrance fee and round trip bus fare from Taipei.

Affordable accommodation and beautiful countryside. We didn’t go in Cherry blossom season and so avoided the crowds. The accommodation was simple and clean, breakfast and dinner was included (a simple Chinese buffet for each). The rooms were in a cabin with folding mattresses, clean sheets and duvets. Note that you’re at over 2000 m so bring slightly warmer clothes. There us no AC but a heater was provided. We paid 6k for a four person room breakfast and dinner. You’ll need a car/scooter as the distances between buildings and to the places is quite far. This is a great place for hiking and enjoying country views.
