  • Fully blooming cherry blossoms in front of big green grass fields and high mountains are just breathtaking, not mentioned that there are many lovely sheeps around.

  • Nice views on a day where there is sun, avoid when it is raining. Super touristy. Whilst it is easily accessible by car, you have got to reach very early to find a parking slot. Very limited parking. I had to wait very long in the morning for a slot. Might be better if you have a driver sending you here. Whilst the area is nice, the sheep shearing show was a little meh (no punt intended). Nice family outing for the kids to feed the sheep. Otherwise, might not make sense for adults to come together.
  • Very relaxing walk. The sheep there will go to anyone with food, so it is not difficult to feed them and take pictures with them. But be careful, as one of the sheeps had been very aggressive and bit onto my paper bag of grass before forcefully snatching it from me. It ate the entire bag of grass and even ate the paper bag. The area is very beautiful and was a nice walk. Although there is a need to be cautious when walking, as there is a lot of goat poop along the trail and on the grass. We tried the goat's milk ice cream and found it refreshing as it had a unique taste and nice texture, although slightly costly. Despite being highly inaccessible without driving, it was worth the high taxi fare charged by the private hire cars that are not metered. It was fun for both adults and kids. We were also lucky as we went during winter, but the weather was sunny but windy, making it not too hot yet not too cold. We were even more relieved when we heard that it snowed a few days after we left, as the temperature had dipped from 11⁰C at night to -2⁰C at night.
  • Totally love this place! The most scenic place in taiwan in my opinions. Very suitable for family with young children as they will be fascinated with the sheep and other animals. Will need to charter a vehicle or drive there since it’s quite out of the way as well.
  • The view is breathtaking and watching the show of the shepherd interacting with a flock of sheep is amusing. My kids love to feed the sheep and horses. The shows take place on the hill and the baby wheels can access by concrete footpath. But the equestrian show perform on another departed farm and not easy to reach with wheelchairs. There are lots of street food and souvenirs vendors around. Roast chicken and bamboo soup seem popular and tasty there. I suggest avoid to visit this area during holiday season because accommodation price sky rocketed and parking difficulty problems. Definitely, it a nice place to visit again in spring or summer. However I suggest to wear a pair sun glasses and apply sun cream as a precaution against sun burn and good winter jackets for night out.
  • Funny moment to feed those sheep. We can stay closely with them. There are a lot of places for hiking with good breath and atmosphere. It also has a horsing show and connect with sky walk.
