Discover Taiwanese modern and contemporary art at National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. Surrounded by a sculpture park, the four-story building features 16 galleries, a library, a gift shop, and a tea house. Start at the sculpture park, which boasts over 40 sculptures and 50 calligraphy stone tablets. Move on through a transparent passageway, which creates a subtle transition from the exterior to the interior of the museum. The kids will love the family room, which features plenty of hands-on exhibits to experiment with. The permanent collection focuses on Taiwanese art starting from the 18th century, while temporary exhibitions display artworks from other East Asian countries. • Very good collection of fine arts. I am mesmerized by art, including fine art. It's well worth a visit here to take it all in. Busy but not crowded when we were here.

  • We took a public bus from our hotel to visit this museum and the surrounding park. Entrance was free and you get to enjoy all the fine arts and sculptures inside and outside. Interesting.

  • Big and spacious garden where little kids can run freely. The museum have an art exhibition annually. Good place to enjoy art and serenity
  • Always something interesting to be seen here. Between major shows today so not a lot to see this visit. One of the frustrating things here is the lack of perspective many Taiwanese art museums have. They fail to place Taiwanese art in the world art scene. They are overly inward looking. Even the museum book shop is boring in that it carries too many art teaching books and nothing from the greater world of art books. Maybe this is a hangover from 50years of marshall law.
  • Lovely space, inclusive in nature too (when I went, they had aboriginal led art, as well as art for younger audiences). Free entry too! Lovely initiative.
  • Fantastic artwork and display or modern creations. There is one Taiwanese restaurant within the premise. Busy on the weekends.
  • Peaceful yo walk around at night. Some random dance group, few activity was going around
