Lavender Forest, Taichung

Most pleasant garden scenery in Taichung. Comfortable environment throughout the tour. The restaurant and the coffeeshop experience were also amazing. The staff are well trained and friendly to kids. Definitely worth the trip up the mountain each season.

You can see lots of flowers blooming here. The employees here are very nice to every costumers. I feel relaxed in Lavender Cottage. Write down a post card and send it to your friends or family to express your feelings towards them. Hope you guys come here and enjoy the day.

Went there on April. Luckily it was the time for hydrangea flowers to bloom, so we could see a lot of beautiful hydrangeas 💕 Aside from flower viewing, inside, there is restaurant, a dessert store, and souvenir store as well. The entrance ticket was 150ntd. The ticket was in the shape of coin. And we can exchange it for 100ntd discount if you want to buy some souvenirs or maybe ice cream there. Or you can just keep the coin as souvenir. Too bad I was fasting at that time so I didn't try their ice cream. However, my friends tried their rose ice cream and lavender ice cream. Rose ice cream is edible, but lavender... it was not recommended (from my friend's opinion) However, they sell fruit popsicles as well, it was better than the rose and lavender ice cream (again, from my friend's opinion 😅)

The scenery is breathtaking and the accommodation is clean and neat. The breakfast picnic is a special touch to a great stay.

Recommended! Friendly staff, generous food portions and peaceful feeling in a tranquil environment. Suggest to book a taxi or driver instead of self-driving due to long winding and narrow roads.
