Taroko Gorge, Xiulin

Very scenic and cooling as we are here in the winter. Definitely plan this itinerary for a full day at least to get to walk trails and take nice natural mountain structures, streams and some of the bridges that are so well planned and made that connects the mountains. Felt relaxed and refreshed.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. The photos don’t do it justice. Definitely a must visit place. I’ll go back again, cause the place is huge so you’d most likely need more than one day to explore. Also great if you have a scooter

Words cannot describe how in awe I was with this place. Probably the best nature park I've ever been. The place is huge with multiple highlights to visit. Best if you have bicycle or a private taxi to bring you around but a private taxi might be expensive though. There are many taxi drivers at the train station that will ask if you'd like to take a private taxi to the place so do take the opportunity to haggle a little if you can. Pictures don't do this place justice. Definitely will come back here again and again.

A place where pictures and words are not enough to express the beauty. If you are confident in riding bike, no second thoughts , just ride through the way and enjoy the beautiful view. Must visit place in Taiwan. Worth Visitng. Kudos to all who have been to this place and hearty welcome to those who have never visited.

beautiful clear water, super blue! very unique mountains too, with such dramatic grade. particularly recommend doing the shakadang path, though note it starts and ends with a roughly 4 story ascent/descent via stairwell.
