Cultural and educational entertainment intersect at Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village. This village was founded in 1986 to exhibit the history, traditions, and other aspects of aboriginal tribes in the area. With 62 hectares (153 acres) of land, the site actually contains five individual theme parks. Explore the site's European gardens area, a plaza, aboriginal villages, an amusement isle, and rainforest area during your trip. The park offers themed rides for all ages, as well as multiple museums, a 3-D movie theater, and even a live, family-friendly dance show. Aboriginal park is such nicely done and the whole park has very smooth circulation. It’s really pleasant to walk around. We get a bit of culture and history for each tribes. Not enough to understand the whole history, but do get the sense of what’s so valuable for their culture. The amusement park is fun but putting 2 of these together doesn’t make much sense for me. Each area require a day to explore.

I didn’t expect to find such a cool adventure park that also had wonderful history about the Formosan Aborigines. I was pleasantly surprised to discover this place. It was so fun. The culture, the history and not to mention the fun rides. We got lucky with weather and enjoyed our trip here. The views on the cable car to the lead up to the park were spectacular. There were some cool rides that were enjoyed and especially the water rides. I would recommend bringing a plastic raincoat that you can get from 711. You can buy it there too but you would have to queue which brings me to the only downside of the park. The downside was that there were queues for every ride and it would take about 30 to 50 minutes waiting time for each ride.

favorite. i enjoyed it so much cos there's just few people (compared to the people in disneyland). but the roller-coaster was closed. missed the cherry blossom due to the fact that it's not the season. also missed the sun moon lake. basically, to go there, you have to ride another cable car crossing the mountain. so pray that the weather is good. all in all it was an amazing and safe experience. huge parking lot. clean environment. so refreshing. away from the city. amusement park in the middle of the nature. delightful!

I went during the cherry blossom season so it was very pretty, despite the bad weather. The cable car ride, as well as the ticket for the park where you can ride all the coasters was under £30 which is very good in my opinion. I didn’t see much of the culture village as I spent much of the day in the theme park. There’s 1 large roller coaster, and 2 log flumes. The rest are smaller but still fun rides.

A great experience taking the cable cars there, and very very interesting display of traditional aboriginal homes and the people’s history. A worthwhile trip just for that. Food wasn’t great quality but plenty of choices, the amusement section is great for all the family, lots of choice and most has clearly been renovated and painted during the pandemic.
