This was the most incredible experience of our life. The owner of the company is nice and helpful. He does everything he can to make the safari completely to your liking! Everything was incredibly well organized and especially our guide made this safari unforgettable. He knows everything about the animals and their behaviour, the nature, the different tribes and the country. Moreover, he always chose his own route in the National park and did not chase other safari cars. Because of this we have seen many special things! We definitely recommend these safari experts!

Our family of four had a great time with OTBP safaris. We (parents, two teenage children) spent 2.5 weeks in Tanzania and OTBP arranged everything. We had an amazing time, and Salim (owner) and Humphrey (our guide) were both fantastic. It was a great way to see and get to know Tanzania.

Our safari in and around the Serengeti with Off the Beaten Path Safaris was action packed into our short schedule and was absolutely amazing. Our guide/Land Cruiser driver Seth was very knowledgeable. He knew the names of every plant, tree and animal and where to find them. We saw lions close enough to look in their eyes and elephants crossing right in front of the “Beast” truck, along with countless other majestic wildlife. Seth appreciated and shared our love of flowers, trees, birds and endless vistas and provided breathtaking views. He showed us his books on flowers, trees, birds and other animals large and small, so we knew exactly what we were looking at all times. Salim and Seth provided excellent lodging and really nice picnic lunches. We were the envy of other explorers for our lunch with tablecloth, real (not paper) plates, silverware, wine glasses and an excellent variety of dishes and wine. Salim is the very nice and kind, he loves the people he takes out there and knows a lot about the animals. I was expecting my trip to be great but he made my trip three times better. I even cried when I had to leave. Asante Salim for the amazing experiences kaka.
