Bamboo Island, Krabi Town

Wonderful and beautiful island. But same as we were, you have to set your expectations right when you are a tourist. You will most likely be there with lots of other tourists and their guides and speedboats. Nevertheless is this place an absolute dream of a tropical island. Restrooms are available, pretty disgusting though.

We had a group tour and this was one of the last attractions. The water is so warm, but the sand was not as I imagined. It was coral sand, which is not so tiny and pleasant as white sand, but still, I recommend you to visit this place. Stopped here as part of a three island tour and it was well worth the visit. We had the island to ourselves for the better part of an hour. The water was amazing, clear and warm, and beyond enjoyable. Definitely use the snorkel gear that’s offered as part of the tour or bring your own. It’s an amazing experience that won’t disappoint!

Somehow beautiful, but so many tourists at the same time kill the chill vibe this place is supposed to bring. Sharp rocks in the water, wear water shoes. We’ve got also big waves that day and was totally no chill.

One of the beautiful island I had ever seen. The sand and water are very glossy and shiny. History behind this is when tsunami was came only bamboo trees are survived so called bamboo island. It’s worth to visit.
