Ayutthaya Golf Club, Ayutthaya

This course is 60-30 minutes from central Bangkok and worth the drive. It's a parkland course with mainly open fairways. The system had water in tricky places to add to the challenge. The greens are in good condition, as well as the bunkers. The fairways were in news of a cut, but they've had lots of rains. I played at 9 am on a weekday, and there were only a dozen people on the course but all playing very fast

Just over an hours drive out from Bangkok and towards Ayutthaya. Charming course and well taken care off. Semi Links style, plenty of water and challenging greens. There's a crazy par 5 hole 18 that loops around a big body of water. Unforgiving if you get your yardage wrong. In all, fun to play.

Nice, flat course. Water on most holes. The greens are undulated. Fairways are mostly generous. The fairway to green 18 goes in a U around water. Big hitters can cut across. Big club house with locker rooms and a reasonably priced restaurant. Driving range.

I came here for the first time, but it is a better golf course than I thought. If it is weekdays you can play at less than 1000 THB. It is a bit far away from downtown about 70km and the clubhouse is a little older but I am very satisfied in total conditions.

This course is located close to Ayuttaya city. It is nice to visit the city after golf. Caddies are generally nice and green fee is reasonable on the weekdays. Recently the course got some renovations for improvement.
