Siam Country Club Pattaya Plantation, Bang Lamung

If you want a Korean and Japan holiday feeling play this course. Rather a profit Center than a Thai golf course. 4and 5 balls of Koreans and Japanese and we as a two ball of Europeans in between. Needed lots of nerves and passion for a greenfee of THB 5000……. Greens very good and a decent speed of 9.9.! Caddies very helpful and could read the greens well. Bravo caddies.

Followed my friend to this club, while she was having a discussion with her counterparts, I stood at the foyer and took a look at the far and beyond view, against the backdrop of the huge golf area. Soothing to the senses, I later joined her friend for us. Awesome authentic Thai food, one of the best among the rest, esp the tomyam soup. Wish I have a chance to return here again, for the food. Yum.

Good well maintained fairways and greens. Challenging course with lots of bunkers. Clubhouse and facilities were excellent. Thank you to Phi Aor Preeyaporn @Hawk NDC62.

The blatant Thai discrimination of Farangs (westerners) in Thailand rears it's ugly head again. The club demands to check passports of all Farangs as a Covid-19 safety regulation. They check if you have been out of Thailand the past 2 weeks. If yes, you are not allowed to play. Do they check passports of Thai people? No. Outrageous discrimination. Not going back. As principle.

A quality clubhouse and course. Worth every penny. Manicured throughout. Greens lovely , fast and true. The course was a little crowded , hence slow play. Otherwise a must play. Also.played old course. Both fantastic. Faultless.
