Pattaya Elephant Sanctuary, Bang Sare

Amazing experience, the elephants were absolutely lovely as they clearly enjoy human contact. It was very quiet while we came so my partner and I had a private tour- got to feed, wash and bathe with the elephants as well as watch them go about their morning. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating and are clearly doing a great job looking after their rescues! Pick up from hotel in Pattaya makes the arrangements super easy, one meal is also included and the food was delicious. Must visit for any animal lovers or as a fun family activity. Profits go into supporting the upkeep of the animals.

We cannot recommend this place enough. We had such an amazing morning there, walking, feeding and bathing these beautiful elephants. They picked us up from our place in Pattaya and drove us back in a mini van. Our guide was great and it was only the 3 of us so it felt very special. Also, we had a vegetarian buffet around twelve which was very nice. Everything is done to respect the animals. We loved it ❤️

LOVED IT!! It took me a long time to search for an elephant experience online. I was concerned I was going to get scammed so I went with these guys because you only have to book and they only take the payment once you are at the Sanctuary already. This experience was so much better than any other place as they teach you about elephants properly. You don't ride them, instead you get to feed them and see the rescue elephants who suffered from elephant riding. You get to also dip in the water and give them a little bath. You're always with the team so it's not dangerous as long as you listen to their instructions. There are three elephants in this sanctuary and they hope to continue rescuing more. Two older elephants and one 8yo male who was so happy and loved to run around and was happily dancing when we were feeding them. 100% would return to see these elephants again.

Was so delighted to see the respect and love the animals at this place are treated with. A truly amazing feel good experience. The Elephants do as they please and have no fear of their handlers or humans. Very gentle despite their past trauma. Swimming with the elephants was something I’ll never forget!
