Create an itinerary including Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA)
At Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), a privately owned gallery, see a well curated collection of artworks fusing traditional Thai art and modern art. The collection includes paintings and sculptures from both local and foreign artists representing several generations of Thai culture. Before browsing the gallery, take a moment to admire the artwork of the building itself. From a distance it appears to be hewn out of a single block of granite, with ornate openwork carvings adorning the facade. • Wonderful collection of artworks beautifully displayed. A 30-40 min taxi ride from Bangkok city centre but well worth it.

  • Fantastically cool museum. I can't say I'm an art fan, but I really enjoyed this museum. A magnificent collection of paintings in completely different styles and colors is spread over several floors. Among the paintings there are small portraits in the style of minimalism, and there are also huge paintings with a lot of details. The museum itself looks very cool, both outside and inside. There is also a small coffee shop and a souvenir shop on the territory of the museum. The entrance ticket cost 250 baht. If you want to see a different Bangkok, then you should definitely visit this place.
  • A art museum. A contemporary Thai art, there are a bit of European art. It is very good museum. The ticket is not expensive and you can take a picture inside just without flash. The ticket can be a discount for the cafe on the G floor, and there is also have a give shop too. Easy to go there it very close to sky train or you can drive there with a lot of parking there. Kid under 13 and senior over 60 enter for free. Student with an ID got the discount. Nice service and good smile 😊

  • Wonderful art. Wonderful space. Wonderful staff! Well worth price of admission (equivalent to $7.50). I had a broken toe during our May 2022 visit, and we borrowed a wheelchair for my husband to push me around.
  • Spent three hours here (Jan 2022) and loved it! There are five floors of beautiful, mind-blowing art ...and great architecture too. We parked in garage below museum. You have to drive around building to enter parking garage...then walk down a long dramatic hallway back to front of building to enter museum. There was a security guy to help guide us upon entering off main street. Highly recommend checking out The MOCA Bangkok. 👍😁
