Mountain Shadow Golf Club, Chonburi

BEWARE OF THEFT! I visited the golf club on November’22 around noon, and had 2,500 baht stolen from my locker. In the past when I visited the shower, the locker keys were randomly left in a basket for the customer to take and use. For some odd reason, this time around when I came alone (no one else was in the shower room besides the employee and myself), an employee went out-of-his way to force a specific locker on me and personally took me all the way there. When I showered and came back, I found out that 2,500 baht had been stolen from my wallet. I know this specifically because I checked the amount of money I had before I went into the club, and always count / write down the serial numbers of my bills to track my spending. The thief did not take all of my bills, but only the big bills (two 1,000 baht bills and one 500 baht bill) in between the chronologically organized stack. I went to the front lobby and complained to the concierge, who just casually called the locker employee to confront him. When he was called over to the lobby, the employee just aggressively started taking off his clothes to make a scene, trying to overcompensate. Naturally, we stopped him there. Afterwards, no employee at the club wanted to take responsibility, and was more worried about whether I was going to call the police. What is shocking is that unlike any of the other golf clubs in the area, this place does not have any CCTV cameras around, so finding any evidence was impossible. The concierge also told me that this type of theft has happened in the past as well. My guess is that the thieves have key copies of certain lockers. Of the many golf clubs I’ve visited in Thailand over the years, this place was absolutely the most disappointing - the intentionally targeted theft towards foreigners, lack of help and support around the situation, and the weak security measures to protect guests were all ridiculous. I am NEVER coming back here again and strongly advise you not to as well.

The course is okay. But like others club houses, covid time has made not so good to buildings. 1350bth with car.

Extraordinary lay out with most interesting Par 5 in the Pattaya area. Maintenance and cleanliness of lockers and course unfortunately are substandard .

Rack of water to make course more greenery and soft. So be prepare to play on hard fairway. Green and layout is good. And the most important thing, don't forget to bring a knife and nam-pla-wan to eat mango in the course! I may say this is like a golf course in mango farm ha ha ha 😄😄😄.
