Khao Chi Chan Buddha, Na Chom Thian

The mountain is about 1 hr ride from central Pattaya. It's a Big Buddha craving on the mountain. It's quite magnificent. Free entrance and you can just make a donation to support the park. The park is clean, peaceful and beautiful. You can do a small picnic in the park.

Be ready. You need an umbrella here. The sun is strong no matter what.. well if you come during it rains, it might not be (but you need an umbrella anyway, no?) I never wear a suntan nor hat. I also feel like if I carry an umbrella, my life will be better there! It will be a nice long walk. If you don’t want to walk, you can spend only 5-10 minutes here and looking at the Buddha image inlaid from afar.

The scenery here is also ordinary. But when you come to Pattaya, you definitely have to come here to check in as a local symbol.

Massive Buddha engraving on mountain, pretty cool and scenic, surreal. To think also, that’s the largest engraved Buddha in the world. Free entrance, just give a donation if you can to support the park. The only disadvantage is this place little bit far of the centre.

Great photo-op Cool spot to make photos of your friends or fiancee... If you don't have your own transport, I suggest you ask the taxidriver to wait for you, as you might spend less than 15/20 minutes on this site ...
