  • Don't bother! Apart from the overcharging for farangs (foreigners) and the inability to access navy beaches in the area (not a problem for Airforce and Army golf courses and beaches around Hua Hin...

  • Clear blue water near Pattaya, you can snorkeling near beach, kayak. All facilities is convenience for visitors. Beware of going there during public holidays, traffic jam + crowded people
  • Amazing island, beautiful view, and snorkeling for free
  • Not the place for relaxing. Each passing hour brings hoards of people to the small island. Okay for one time experience but would not go back as there are much better islands/beaches around. But I have to say, the water was pretty clear and I saw some fishes while snorkeling. Good provision of facilities too (toilets - free, kayak - 100 baht/hour, snorkeling gear - 50 baht, life jackets - free, beach chairs - 40 baht + 20 baht deposit). It’s a shame the other side of the island isn’t well maintained.
  • Only one nice beach with many small rocks going to the water. Some nice wooden swings and wooden benches to relax. Only one place to eat with some rice meals, snacks, and fresh fruit and drinks. Better to bring your own food and drinks. They have free toilets there but they are only in one place around where the benches and food are located. There is many Thai military in the area. They are with you on Ko Kham and you might also see other military doing training exercises out in the water in front of the main beach. We saw fighter planes fly over a couple times and drop what looked like fire balls out the back of the plane into the water and then a large ship went into the area. So that was exciting but other than that this is a quiet place to relax with only a few people on the island. There is also snorkling there after noon after the water rises. When I went there was some light rain and strong winds which made the trip over on an old ferry boat very exciting. Since they are many places to hide away from the rain or sun it wasn't a total loss to go there if it is raining. There is also a nice little cave tucked away in front of a small beach that is close to where the boat is docked (See if you can find the hidden treasure 😊).
  • Super nice island operated by the Navy. Great time to visit during COVID even during the weekends. Else it will be packed with people!
