    Just 9 km west from Alkmaar is the quiet sandy beach of Egmond. Perhaps the atmosphere is more relaxed because it is further away from the densely populated areas of Holland. No garbage here or noisy....  more

    Great wide beach , tons of sand and sun --- places to eat n chairs n beach items to rent --- lots of room to spread out -- clean , beautiful dunes , people can bring their dogs as well - plenty.....  more

    Very nice place. A few bars and even in the holiday season not too crowdy at the beach, just the small parking places are full. We parked ~800m away from the beach and the rates are standard ones in this area. Theres also a small boulevard quite close to the beach with bars and souvenir shops. I can recommend this beach for a ~4 hour rest!

    It's a cozy place with a great beach and sea views. Lots of places to get some great lunch, dinner and ice-cream. Friendly people and lots of dogs to pet. You can also take long walks through the beautiful dunes.

    Small, old town on the oceanside. Perfect for families and all those seeking to spend time resting and enjoying breathtaking nature and quiet place. No night life. Everything closes arround 22-23h.

    I really enjoyed the day at the beach. The water was good for swimming... Parking is 2 euros per hour, the prices for food are somewhere in the middle.

    Beautiful clean beach really pleasant atmosphere and a gigantic parking lot at a reasonable price lovely strolls around the harbor at any time of year .
