Rhapsodos Mozaik, Canakkale

We spent an afternoon with our children admiring Emine's mosaics, her retelling of the Illiad and Odyssey, and were also able to make mosaics of our own!! We spent ten days in Turkey seeing and experiencing amazing things, and the whole family agreed that this workshop was one of the highlights of our trip. Emine prepared for our workshop with such care and the mosics that we came home with are incredibly beautiful and will be treasured forever!

The moment you walk through that green door, you will enter the room where time is pointless. Because everything you will hear from amazing storyteller Mrs Emine, has already happened, it's happening right now and will happen again and again and again as long as mankind exist. Her amazing storytelling will get you to the distant past where Menelaus, Odysseus, Achilles, Helen, Paris, Hecuba and many others lived, hated, made war and love. You will see on her amazing mosaics everything you need, to enter that timeless world. But I don't want to reveal everything here. An excellent story telling experience using mosaics of the main characters in the Iliad. If you like mosaics and want to see and hear about one of the oldest written stories definitely schedule a visit.

Hands down one of the most unique, informative and educational experience! Using her love and deep knowledge of Homer’s Iliad, Greek mythology, historical tales and artifacts, the talented mosaic artist Emine weaved and brought to life the story of Trojan War in her beautiful mosaic work. This experience is truly special and I can feel and see the artist’s passion and love of this great story in the way she delivers and takes you through the journey. Emine is a masterful historian, a talented mosaic artist and at the core, a peace loving storyteller. I thoroughly enjoyed and touched by the experience. I highly encourage and recommend anyone visiting Çanakkale to experience this very special journey through mosaics!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the session with Emine. She has beautifully created each mosaic piece and conveyed in great detail the history of Troy. The amount of thought, research and effort she has put into this shines through and I'm so grateful to have come across Rhapsodus Mozaik on Google.
