Cappadocia Horse Farm, Goreme

We booked the sunset tour for 40 € and it was really nice. We were a small group of 4 people (a couple and my friend and me) and we had a nice tour. The landscape is breathtaking and the horses were so sweet. They gave me a mare named Pamuk, the others were Aria, Kader and Mercedes. All of them behaved well. Unfortunately, it was quite cloudy so tjere was not much of a sunset, but all in all,I would recommend. Plus,there is always one of the guides on foot to take care of the people in the back. Thank you dear team!

The horses are well cared for, atleast from what I could tell. The ride itself is only about an hour despite being advertised as 2 hours. There is about an hour break. This is fine if the information was clear and upfront but it wasn't. The pickup person was about 20 mins late. There was also no briefing on how to handle the horse and basic horse handling, so if its your first time it can make you quite nervous. In the end it was fine as the horses more or less follow each other and the ride is very slow so there isn't much to worry about. Over 20 horses left at the same time and they have one caretaker for every 5 horses. The price in April 2022 was 25 euros per person.

The experience sounds like a lot of fun on paper, but the reality is you are in a very large group, single line formation, and moving extremely slow. No explanation or guidance of any sort. There is no personal touch. A quick means of money- get you riding and get you gone.

really enjoyed the horse riding experience, it's an excellent way to see the views, horses are pretty much auto which is great if you don't have riding experience.

So…this is supposed to be a 2 hour ride but it’s actually a 45min ride and 1 hour “drink break”. Purely for novice riders. If you have never ridden a horse this is perfect. If you actually want to ride , don’t waste your time and money. Not even a trot or canter. Feeling extremely disappointed. Could have possibly had more fun and value for money on the ATV tour. If you are an experienced rider , Save your $40 and do another tour.
