Admire the vibrant colors and intricate tile work at Cinili Mosque. This tiny mosque was built in 1640 as part of a bigger architectural complex that featured a madrassa (college), primary school, public fountain, and hamam, still in use. The Iznik tiles adorning the interior floors and walls were commissioned by the powerful wife of Ahmed I, Kosem Sultan. Notice the delicately carved wooden doors. Not many tourists find their way to this hidden gem on the Asian side of the Bosphorus, so you can easily enjoy it all by yourself. • It has a peaceful environment. A quiet and quiet place of worship. The mosque is famous for its tiles. It is one of the places you can visit on the Anatolian side.

  • A small mosque infrequently visited by tourists but filled nearly ceiling to floor with mesmerizing blue Iznik tiles. Is known as the Tiled Mosque for the sheer quantity and quality of them present both inside and outside. Worth a quick detour if on the Asian side. The entrance is a bit tricky to find, but is right off the street.
  • Nice little mosque located in the heart of Üsküdar !
  • Very nice historical masjid
  • Pleased to say that the renovations have been completed and the mosque is open. They artisans have done a magnificent job with the restoration. It really is beautiful. It is a very small mosque and a good walk from the ferry, but don’t let that put you off visiting. Çok güzel.
  • The mother of fourth Sultan Murat has established this mosque. So it's absolutely important for the Islamic world. As the name includes, it's fulfilled with "çini".
