  • Nothing really impressive remained to be seen. If it wasn't the guide's story, you wouldn't even realize that there were some public baths. Only a few remains of massive walls and some stone arches...

  • Some nice arches and scattered stones. Not all that amazing but interesting if you have a good guide to explain.

  • The Bath of Varius, is about 150m from the (modern) entrance to Ephesus, and one of the first ruins I saw after passing through the entrance gate. Unfortunately, there has not been much...

  • Good Amazing
  • The bath structure belonging to the Roman Period was probably built on an older Hellenistic gymnasium. The four bath rooms on the north side were partially carved out of the rock. In the building, which has seven niches equipped with hot pools in the west, the halls with mosaic floors in the west and south served as resting and sightseeing places. In the south, an open courtyard (palaestra) serving physical education and mental pursuits is thought to exist in the currently unexcavated area.
  • Right at the top entrance. Opposite there is a model of the entire complex, which offers a good orientation.
  • BATH VARIUS IN EPHESUS Roman Baths Varius (Varius Hamamları) Ephesus had a well-functioning sewerage system and water supply network. This is one of several bath complexes - Varius baths. It is believed that rich townspeople bathed here, with all the attendant amenities.
  • There is something as important as history in Ephesus. Cats... About 100 cats live in the ancient city. All of them are staffed and fed.
