A great place to visit after you've seen the main attractions of the area. Lots of different trains but it doesn't take long to see.

Lovely outdoor railway museum a short train ride from Selcuk. It seems appropriate to go there and back by train. Lots of engines from various origins that have been used in Turkey so some from England, Sweden, France, the USA and Germany for example. Restaurant within the grounds looked and smelt good! 50 lira entrance fee for adults. Really nice day out

One heck of an amazing place for any train lover! It has a fantastic collection of engines and wagons of all sizes and types, displayed in such a way it’s easy and comfortable to go from machine to machine, where you’re always one step away from simply getting into one. The elements haven’t been too kind to the machines themselves, but nevertheless it’s a must-visit for anyone in the area.

Excellent facility! At least 25 locomotives and numerous other cars. Turntable has 18 locomotives around it. Our group had a nice lunch on the grounds, watched carefully by the museum 's 2 or 3 dogs. Service is friendly and has good English. Clean restrooms.

A wonderful place for people who loves trains. Entrance fee was 50 tl

Open air steam train museum closed due to the zombie apocalypse 🚫🚂💨🧟♀️🧟♂️🧟 I don't know much about health and science but if you have a museum outside it seems to me that would virtually be Rona proof... Much like all the other ruins that are outside and are open to the public with virtually no restrictions.... Unless of course you're the owner of a beautiful train museum and are absolutely petrified of your own shadow or a virus with a 99.98% survival rate..... Then of course you keep the museum closed 🤷♂️😂👻🤣 Sad really because y'all know how much I love old machines. I especially appreciate antique steam engines because in their day they were the workhorse that built the modern world we enjoyed today 💪 Since we weren't able to actually go in the museum across the street we found what used to be the locomotive engineers house... Today it sits abandoned with the roof collapsed in but with a bunch of train parts like wheels and pistons inside of the lean to garage. Across from the house are a few cranes that were used to unload train cars back in the day. Today they are sitting underneath the sun waiting for their turn to return back to nature from once they came 🌞🌦️🏚️⚙️👨🔧⚒️🔧🗜️🔩
