See an archeological treasure recovered from one of the largest urban centers of ancient Asia Minor, including the famous statue of Artemis, at Ephesus Museum. Through more than 50,000 pieces, the museum tells the story of the city from Mycenaean and classical Greek times to Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman periods. See the great selection of vases, statues, mosaics, and other artifacts at the archaeological section of the museum, and learn about the daily life in Byzantine and Ottoman Ephesus in the ethnological exhibits. The museum provides thorough information about exhibits in both Turkish and English. To visit Ephesus Museum on your trip to Selcuk, use our Selcuk trip itinerary planning tool.

This has long been a bucket list thing on my places to see. It did not disappoint. My only problem was too little time. I could have spent days here just soaking in the centuries of history that took place here. Be sure to give it at least a full unhurried day if you trek over to this grand treasure. It's a sublime example of archeological restoration.

One of the best ruins in the world. Not to be missed under any circumstances if you're on a cruise to the area. Massive site takes about a good hour to see it. Uneven stairs and rocks but if you are mobile it is not to be missed under any circumstances. This is the fifth time I have been there go every time I'm on a cruise or with a friend.

Very nice to walk around, plenty of photo opportunities and gorgeous weather tabi ki. My boyfriend and I loved the ruins, we feel so cultured and blessed to see this in person. I felt so at one with our human ancestors, what an experience to have with my bitanem.

Ephesus will appeal not only to fans of archeology. If you've been avoiding similar places so far, don't let it go this time. Because in Ephesus you can really travel back in time and feel the atmosphere of this ancient city. 🏛

A wonderful museum. It isn't big (so those who are not into that kind of place will be happy), but it contains enough artefacts and informations to satisfy Antiquity nerds. You will find famous statues, but also more surprising and precious collections, from various times and civilizations. The museum is not crowded, and the artefacts are well presented so you can enjoy everything.
