  • Beautiful high elevation backcountry. Friendly people with many still living the traditional old life while the younger generations have moved on.

  • A wonderful, peaceful National Park full of wildlife and incredible views. The glacier fed river is teeming with fish and the cold temperature of the water helps cool the surrounding air so that it's comfortable to sit beneath trees on the riverbank even on the hot summer days. Definitely worth a visit.
  • This national park has beautiful nature and breathtaking views. The best way to get around the park is by car as the roads are built along the river so you can enjoy the view. Also, many interesting places are quite far from Tunceli, and public transport is not developed, so this is another reason why you need a car. Along the road and river you can find many restaurants offering delicious food with affordable prices. The local people are very hospitable, kind and friendly, and they care a lot about the nature that is sacred to them. However, for tourists who come here for camping or picnicking by the river this is not the case so you can often come across rubbish left behind. :( I think local authorities should take measures and penalties against anyone who destroys nature in this way. All in all, I would recommend this place to anyone who loves nature, especially the mountains.
  • Oh! It's such as breathtaking nature valley... A valley you may live your rest of life with no doubt... Amazing nature! 🏞️ Beautiful places! 🏕️ Love you Munzur ❤️
  • Oldest national park in mid-east Turkey. Still untouched virgin lands. But too much security, not easy to get in.
  • Love at first sight!
