The marina in turgutreis is so beautiful for a walk it got some wonderful scenery full of boats and tourists. All around feels so clean and fresh.. it is situated around 20 to 25 kilometers away from bodrum if taken the highway and around 35km from bodrum if driving the old Beach road. But I must mention if you take the Beach road you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of beaches and hills surrounding it. Some of the scenes were just so incredibly beautiful that makes you want to stop and take photos and videos. The ride itself was worth it. I loved it. When coming back at hotel in gumbet area I felt that my holidays was getting even more interesting and the fares for taxis were all worth the money and time. All in all it was a great experience.. Enjoy your holidays..

A proper and safe marina run by a big marina chain (that also runs a gorgeous marina in Göcek) however I felt it lacked an aesthetic. There is a small shopping mall integrated into the marina however it is separated from the pontoons meaning you exit the private pontoon area and then step into the public marina shopping and food area. All the facilities are in the public area so do not expect any free services included in the marina fee. There are other facilities inside such as a tennis court, an open air cinema and a pool located within a nice restaurant where you must pay an entrance fee to be deducted from your order. It didn't work for us well because we have small kids who wanted to swim and it didn't make sense to send them to the restaurant with a nanny.

Let me explain why 1 star is given... first of all, is new, and ugly, nothing of traditional Turkish architecture or design! Secondly, is all closed up!!! So if you thinking to have a walk trough out the marina... think again! It is impossible to walk by the sea... you need to pass trough restaurants and at the end of the last one... there isn’t a way so you need to go all the way back to the main road! So pedestrian are sent to the main road way out to walk up and down! Third reason, there are Not a single public place to sit down! You either sit in a restaurant or you don’t sit! Terribly designed for pedestrian and ugly architecture, not worthy!

Nice, busy Marin with good security, services and also a nice bar/restaurant
