Create an itinerary including Sapphire Beach
A versatile destination, Sapphire Beach on St. Thomas offers an idyllic spot to rest and relax, as well as engage in water sports. Lined with sea grape trees, the beach offers a thick shade and silky white sand. Swim or snorkel near the rocky cliff on the right side of the beach, where shallow water ensures good visibility of a coral reef. Rent wind surfing gear, kayaks, and jet skis, try parasailing, or get a snack from the bar and grill. • We stayed at Sapphire and went to 5 other beaches snorkeling and swimming.Sapphire had the best snorkeling! So much to see out there. The pizza is great, the beach bar was great and the views are amazing❤️
  • Great snorkeling beach! Saw sea turtles and lots of fish. Love the bars and cute gift shops at the resorts. Make sure you get there early since it's a smaller beach.
  • The beach is very crowded with $9 overpriced beach chair rentals. The water has a higher tide than it’s neighboring Lindquest beach and isn’t that shallow. There’s a beach bar and restaurant to conveniently grab food and drinks. Overall I was a bit disappointed with the beach and prefer the quieter and more serene Lindquest beach.
  • Love this beach. We stayed here for 8 days and I wish we could already go back. Soft sand and gorgeous clear blue waters. There was a sting ray swimming around the one day. The snorkeling was nice but not much to see on this beach. There is a great beach bar on site and pizza.
  • This place rocks! Service is great and the beach is better. Nicky the bartender is efficient and extremely polite with an awesome attitude. The views are amazing.
