Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital, Abu Dhabi

I adopted my Vino boy at the Falcon Hospital Shelter, the whole experience was smooth, they gave him a bath and gave us a big bag of food before leaving. A lot of beautiful animals are available and waiting to be adopted there. 🐾 🐾 🐾 I often visit to five them toys and always happy to see that some of them are getting adopted. Their vets are also good and professional, they did my dog’s castration and he only had a few stitches and was back to his goofy self after a few hours.

I went to surrender a street cat and found a very quick procedure to complete the process. It was my first visit and yet to know about this Hospital and Pet Shelter. This is really great I found a place where we can leave some poor cats those are struggling on the street.

I enjoyed it very much. First, you are taken to a room with posters and given a short lecture about falcon and falconry traditions, then you are taken to the ward where they explain a little more about the birds, show you how the anesthesia is done and does a procedure (hoped to see a endoscopy but the bird needed just a little nail trim 😄). They let you hold a falcon and take some photos. Then the guide shows you more of a hospital and other birds they have. Drawback is that its a little bit pricey and it's in a middle of nowhere so getting a taxi back can be a little bit tricky.

It's unique experience in ADFH and Museum. It was my first time to get up close to the falcon and learn a lot about the falcon, especially how the falcon is associated with the traditions of Abu Dhabi. Greatest and very worthy falcon hospital outside of the city in Abu Dhabi. Fantastic guide through the whole hospital. Everytime I go there it is always a new experience. The tour guide has all the time new jokes and new ways to entertain the visitors. Holding the falcon on the protected hand, seeing them flying around in the outside cage or even see when they fix the feather or cut the nails make the whole visit greater. Keep up your great job.
