Corniche Beach, Abu Dhabi

Great sandy beach, convenient division into different zones. There is a free zone, which is suitable for games on the beach and paid, for recreation with sun loungers and umbrellas. The beach has a toilet, indoor and outdoor showers with warm water, changing cabins, which are also suitable for people with disabilities, free drinking water and a playground with a slide.

A very very clean and well maintained beach. Best place to cycle walk or just come for a football game. There are a number of eateries and coffee shops around. Sandy beach with the view of the city towers around. The water is pristine. The beach has toilets, changing room and a lot more.

Abu Dhabi corniche beach is around 8km long stretch of breakwater front extending from Mina port in the north up to Marina mall to the south. The corniche is divided into different zones with each zone featuring different characteristics. The Mina side features breakwater front with the fishermens village and fishing boats and trawlers in the background. As you move towards south, opposite to Abu Dhabi chamber of commerce, you have white sand beach with free public access. Further south, there is a family beach with paid access to the beach for privacy. There are restaurants and cafes on the beach. There is an interlock tiled walkway more than 10 metres wide for walking and jogging. Parallel to it is a separate dedicated cycle track for cycling. There are many activities which can be enjoyed such as walking, jogging, exercise, cycling, quad biking, parasailing, banana boat ride, yatch ride with dinner package, kids play area, beach football, beach volley ball and many other beach games. The beach is open to public 24x7 and guarded by security and life guards. There are vending machines for drinking water, tea, coffee, juices and cold drinks. Also there are fresh water fountains along the corniche walkway. The gardens along the corniche are maintained and kept clean by regular trimming the trees to various geometric shapes. The beaches have clean water and sand. The early morning walks along the beach with birds chirping in the background is music to the soul. Morning and evening walks on the corniche are very pleasant with your body relasing more happiness harmones endorphins to give you a positive and feel good state of mind. There is ample parking area across the corniche beach and every traffic signal has a subway connecting the parking area to the corniche beach. The corniche beach turns magical at night in the shining citylights on one side and view of emirates palace, presidential palace and marina mall on the other side. The entire corniche lits up in the night to give a stunning look.

Beautiful beach located in Abu Dhabi. The skies were very beautiful when we visited and the sand were white as well. Unfortunately we didn’t visit but we just did a quick stopover to enjoy the view.
