  • Excellent experience, we have been to many amazing places, but this museum is something special. First, it is super authentic and immersive. You enter the traditional Arabic life, wondering around the open-air castles' yard and entering pavilions with automated light, animation and audio and video guide. No human educators, no crowds. An hour before closing there were only two of us:)
  • Lovely museum. Marketplace is extremely well done and interesting. Lots of interesting exhibits. AED 5 entry fee. It's situated in the heritage village with shops and cafes. Paid on street parking. The kettles, phones and Mercedes were in a coffee shop in the heritage village.
  • Beautiful museum, good informative location for kids, entry fee 5AED per person. Kids below 6yrs can enter free. Clean and well maintained toilet facility in front of museum.
  • Very interesting history narrative. Well worth the visit. You can learn how a small fishing village came to be one of the important Emirates within the rest if the 7 Emirates, and its historical importance. The entry tickets are priced at 5 Dirhams, and no Card payments at the moment but cash only. Surrounding the area is a few traditional soujs and restaurants, still with the original olden days style. Would highly recommend taking that visit, just around 25 to 30 mints drive from Sharjah or Dubai.
  • Good place to spend the evening and night . Traditional Arabian souq with collectables, hobby fishing equipments, fine traditional restaurants . The only thing missing in the museum is the museum itself which is closed indefinitely ever since the pandemic
