  • I really enjoyed my visit to Al Jahili Fort. The staff are super friendly and the Fort interesting to explore. The best part for me was the Mubarak Bin London exhibition. Wilfred Thesiger was an amazing and inspiring explorer and this exhibition has amazing stories, photos and information about him and his companions. Highly recommended.
  • Great place and well restored. Be prepared to be there for at least 1.5hrs if you are interested in the history and a little walk about. The staff working there are helpful too. It was a good experience, I enjoyed myself.
  • Excellent place to visit. UAE and their culture is visible here. Big compound and neat design. Visit in evening time and enjoy the place with lots of amazing architecture designs are there. Arabs are great designers based on their geographical locations.
  • Rich in UAE History. So amazing. The photo exhibition will you the amazing journey some Arab countries like Oman, Syria, UAE, etc. It's really interesting to see. The forts are all well maintained. The lightings is fantastic..
  • Just like any other Fort, this also had a fascinating history. To reach the Fort you will have to walk through a park The photo galleries inside the Fort will take you to a different era, most of this Fort has been restored but pretty much all the rooms are locked up. The timings were odd 3PM to 6PM only. We went in the morning and had to return and had to make a second trip.
