  • Great to visit a hill fort at least 4,000years old, the location and construction are amazing and gives you time to reflect what has happened here through the years.easy access great history for all.

  • Good walk great views alot still there . Went awalk along the burn next to the hill which has had a high water flow which has damage the banks revealing the glacier melt debris and the original ground level with tree stumps and roots . Interesting walk if you like unseen geology.
  • Impressive scale of remains of hill fort circa 500 BC has two outer earth ramparts and one stone inner wall with traces of houses. Great views over the Clydesdale.
  • Quite a steep climb to get up to it, and not signed or posted in anyway so it takes a bit of working out how to get there (need to just jump the fence). Great view once your up though.
  • A truly awe inspiring site. Well worth the lonely climb up a windswept hillside, the view is incredible and the place is buzzing with energy.
