Create an itinerary including Causeway Coastal Route
The Causeway Coastal Route consists of a scenic 193 km (120 mi) road weaving its way around the northern Irish coast between Belfast and Londonderry. Distinctive brown road signs direct visitors to a host of major tourist attractions, including The Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle, and The Old Bushmills Whiskey Distillery, set amongst cliffs, mountains, waterfalls, and golden sands. Make sure you give yourself time to explore and enjoy unplanned adventures and tempting deviations. Some of the roads leading off the route to attractions can be quite narrow, so do take care if you’re not used to driving on small roads. • A place on the top 3 to visit in NI. Any time of the year this place never tires of wonderment and character. I’ve been several times over the past 35 years. I’ll visit again next time I’m...

  • This of the most beautiful coastal route that I have ever seen in Europe. Another thing this better than the Cliffs of More which is down in the Republic of Ireland. Also I could go on this...

  • My family & I enjoyed our time at Giant's Causeway. We researched about it on Google giving us some base knowledge before arriving. Beautiful scenery & a fun time climbing some of the columns. No tickets needed.
  • Did a day trip with McComb's coaches to the Giants Causeway with stop-offs along the way to various other tourist spots. Great day and our coach driver and tour guide Patrick was excellent. Recommend taking the Red trail at the Causeway along the cliff top then down to the Causeway and come back along the blue route.
  • Nice walk. Count on 30min each way. 2 routes are available so you can go down in one and return in the other.
  • Beautiful route, definitely recommend taking this way if you can! So many gorgeous views, villages and photo ops if you can find a spot to pull over!
  • I travelled from Portstewart to Lough Na Cranagh, at Fairhead, just outside Ballycastle. The drive was an absolute pleasure. Returning from the Lough, after 10pm.,the sun was setting over the Atlantic waters and the views were outstandingly stunning and beautiful. What a gift to actually live in this part of the world.
