This castle is home to the Duke of Atholl, the only duke in the UK who is allowed to raise his own army. Stayed in our campervan on the adjacent site and were able to enjoy acces to the lovely gardens, and discounted entry to the amazing castle.

An absolutely stunning place to visit. We could only do the gardens as we had our dog with us, and therein lies the issue. Blair Castle is apparently dog friendly, was aware of no dogs being allowed..... more

The Hercules Garden at Blair Castle is on top form, beautiful to view and a haven for wildlife. It is a credit to the gardener's care and attention.

Beautiful gardens and sculptures. Spent an afternoon in these gardens. Tiny buildings and a piece of history through the windows. Also apples and pears growing in abundance. Beautiful!
