The Misty Bottle, Isle of Skye

We were staying in the area and were running out of Gin and Whisky. So we stopped here on our last day on the Isle of Skye to stock up on some drinks. A very cool shop. Inside and outside a real looker. Staff/owner was very friendly, had a lot of time for us and let us sample some drinks we were interested in. Our English Bulldog was allowed inside as well. We chose some local Gin from the Isle of Skye. Then we looked for some Whisky. Something not too smokey, a bit on the softer and flowery side. The "NC'Nean" whisky was the recommendation. And it was spot on! Exactly what we looked for taste-wise. It's a very very tasty organic whisky made of barley. Great stuff.... on the parking lot outside we decided to head back in and buy a second bottle. Since this whisky ain't easy to find for a modest price in my country. A great shop with a huge selection of whisky and more. Owner/staff with lots of knowledge. Fair prices as well. And it's right at the main road, you won't miss it. Make sure you don't!

What a brilliant little whisky shop in Skye! The gent inside was friendly and very knowledgeable. The inside of the shop is immaculate and the place is stuffed full of brilliant whiskies, gins, and beers! In fact, it was so good we stopped there twice!! Highly recommended!

Fantastic place, and brilliantly transformed from the old post office. Craig, the business owner, really knows his stuff about both the whiskys and craft beers he has on offer. Tell him what tickles your fancy, he'll point you in the right direction. A little tip: if you're staying high up north or west on Skye (we stay in Glendale) call when arriving to stock up, as it's just a few miles onto the island😊👌Cheers guys🍻

Amazing collection of gins, whiskies, other spirits and beers. This place is very much worth a drive out. The chap we met was knowledgeable and offered great advice on gin, and even gave a little snifter to try just to get a feel for it. Would not hesitate to recommend coming here for all your alcohol needs. Good prices too.

Interesting shop - great collection and Craig was very knowledgeable. Short of spending a few months traveling the smaller distilleries, stopping here is a great way to get to taste the variety including many smaller distilleries that aren't as broadly distributed as the big names.
