Tropical Wings Zoo, Chelmsford

It's great to see this place open again. I feel that they should focus their investment in what's already there before they continue expanding the place but definitely great for the family. Make sure you bring your wellies!

Wow. The newly refurbished Call of the Wild is just brilliant. It’s still in the process of expanding but it’s just great. In fact I think it’s better than Colchester Zoo mainly due to how close you can get especially to the noisy Otters and cheeky meerkats.

Lovely day out, plenty to see, lots to do, food is great with a wide selection for all ages and dietary requirements. Staff were always friendly and approachable, lots of parking, animals unconditionally loved and cared for with plenty of space in their enclosures

I had such an amazing time here. The staff are brilliant and the talks we watched were very informative. The tropical area was great...I really enjoyed having the butterflies flying around and feeding the koi. It was also really interesting to see the bananas growing. We ate at Cafe and the food was lovely I really enjoyed being able to brush and feed the goats. Can't wait to visit with my children

Love it here and we went as two adults. Great for kids. The butterfly enclosure is great. No big animals but you can see that on the web site. Smaller zoos so much more personal. Love it here.
