Bogside History Tours, Derry

What a fantastic tour! Our tour guide was an unapologetic Republican who did a fantastic job of explaining his perspective and personal experience on the history of the Troubles in Derry, including Bloody Sunday. I highly recommend you going on this walking tour. Meet on the front steps of the Guildhall at 11 am or 1 pm.

My wife and I took a taxi tour with Aidan last week. Being from the south, we found he gave a fantastic informed unbiased view of the city and its history. No pressure with time. An absolute gentleman. If you are booking I would highly recommend Aidan as a guide.

Went on the bogside tours today with the very lovely and knowledgeable Adrian. Was amazing start to finish it was unreal the history and stories he shared with us about Derry. What an amazing day. We loved every min although horrifying stories of how people were treated. But highly recommend to go on this when u visit Derry. Amazing 👏

Excellent tour by Neil! Spoke with us rather than at us. Went into great detail on a lot of the issues, provided broader context & made sure we understood & enjoyed it. Could easily have a career in teaching and or standup but it seems for now he's found his calling.

Well worth doing this walking tour. Paul was engaging, full of stories and historical information on what happened on these streets. It's tragic to learn the pain and terror caused here. A great way to ground yourself in the Bogside.
