  • What an absolutely magnificent Abbey!! It's clean and comfortable to walk around the adjoining gardens. I have been back several times and cannot get enough of this splendour. The Dunfermline Council keeps this place as clean as a whistle and it's such a pleasure being around all the beauty.
  • I had to pinch myself to make sure I was actually at Dunfermline Abbey! The Abbey is majestic and I was a bit awestruck to even be there. Bruce is my maiden name and Dunfermline was my number one place I had on my to visit list while in Scotland. I didn't want to leave it was so beautiful! The history of the old and new Abbey is fascinating.
  • A beautiful abbey, stunning views and a lovely walk round about the town. Some free parking just down from it. Well worth a visit in the area, especially in the crisp morning air.
  • Had the pleasure to work at the Abbey recently, and had never been before despite many trips up to Scotland since childhood. I was lucky enough to have a personal tour of the abbey and learn’t about it’s historical importance in Scottish history. Definitely a site worth exploring. Staff are extremely knowledgable too.
  • Fantastic place to visit, very helpful and knowledgeable staff. The stained glass windows are beautiful. The displays are interesting and the whole site was well worth the visit.
